Is My Phone Really Hacked?

I was browsing recipes on Safari and found some weird tabs open, including a porn site I've never visited and one saying my phone was hacked. It warned that if I closed the tab, it would leak my info. I panicked and quickly exited the tab, deleted my history, and changed my iCloud password. Should I be worried? I'm feeling super paranoid and would love to hear anyone's thoughts or suggestions on this.

Sounds like typical scareware. Those popup ads are designed to freak you out, but you probably didn't need to delete anything or change your password.

Thanks, was just paranoid.

It’s just scareware; nothing harmful will happen unless you click on a link or give out sensitive info. If you want peace of mind, a virus scan might help!

Thanks for the suggestion!

I've seen those popups claiming your phone's been hacked too. They're usually just tricks. You can check online for safe virus scanners for reassurance, though!

Your phone is likely fine! Those popups are really common. Just steer clear of clicking anything suspicious. If you haven’t downloaded anything shady on a jailbroken phone, you shouldn’t have a problem.

Nah, you’re good! Just don’t worry too much about it.
