Is My Phone Really Hacked or Am I Overreacting?

Hey everyone, I think my phone might be hacked. I'm 28 and work for Verizon, so I'm pretty knowledgeable about phones. But recently, it started playing random audio that I didn't initiate. I closed all my apps and did a hard reset, but the audio persisted. It was two guys speaking in Hindi or something—I couldn't tell what they were saying. I've downloaded a VPN and ran a scan, which showed everything is normal, but the issue happened again. If anyone has insights or similar experiences, I'd really appreciate your input!

Honestly, I don’t think it's hacked. Sounds more like a glitch or an app acting up. Have you checked your app permissions? Sometimes apps can run in the background and play audio without you knowing. Might be worth looking into that.

I highly doubt your iPhone is hacked, especially if you haven’t seen any warning notifications about it. I work with phones too and issues like this are pretty rare. Try uninstalling any suspicious apps or doing a full factory reset to start fresh.

You should definitely provide more evidence, like a video. It’s hard to take claims seriously without proof. You can post videos on sites like YouTube and link them for more clarity. Just saying 'words on a page' doesn’t help much.
