Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA RTX 2060 to the new RX 9070 XT, and I'm a bit worried about my power supply. Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Intel i7-10700 (TDP: 65W)
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 (TDP: 160W)
- RAM: 16GB TEAMGROUP at 3400MHz (~10W)
- Storage: 4TB HDD + 1TB M.2 SSD (~15W)
- Motherboard and other components: ~50W
- Power Supply (PSU): 650W
Under full load with AIDA64 and FurMark, my system draws between 330W and 385W. I'm nervous that my PSU might not handle the extra power for the RX 9070 XT. What do you think I should do?

I'd recommend upgrading your PSU just to be safe. It's better to avoid any potential issues down the line and have peace of mind!
I think your current PSU should be sufficient. The RX 9070 XT has a TDP of around 300W, so even with everything else, you'd be under the 650W limit. Just make sure your PSU is of good quality to handle any power spikes!
Check your PSU specs! Look for the max current on the 12V rail and multiply that by 12 to find the max wattage. If that's under 450W, you'll likely need an upgrade. Otherwise, you should be good!
You'll be pushing your PSU to its limits if everything runs at 100%, but that's pretty rare in practice. Most likely, you'll be just fine!
My PSU is from Cooler Master with an 80 Gold Plus rating, which seems decent. I checked, and it says 54.1A on the 12V rail, so that's around 649W. Also, do I need a 12-pin adapter for the new GPU?
