I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card from a 1650 to a 5070 12GB. Here are my current specs:

- Motherboard: ASROCK H410M/ac
- RAM: 8 x 2 XPG
- Power Supply: Corsair CX650
- Storage: 500GB XPG
- CPU: Intel i7-10700 2.90GHz
- Cooling: 4 Fans

Will my power supply handle the upgrade?

According to the specs for the RTX 5070, it suggests a PSU of at least 600W. Given that your current power supply is 650W, you should be in the clear!

You can try plugging your components into pcpartpicker.com to get an estimated power draw. If it’s under 500W, you're totally safe. Just remember that while the CPU might not always be at full load during gaming, it’s good to consider potential power spikes from the GPU.

Your PSU meets the minimum wattage, but just a heads up, the RTX 5070 uses a 16-pin/12vhpwr connector. Your Corsair CX650 has a dual 8-pin cable, which should work with an adapter included with the card. However, I'd be cautious about using it based on some known issues with that connector.

You could consider adding an extra 8-pin PCIe cable if your PSU supports it. That might be a safer option to avoid any potential issues.
