Is My RAM Actually Faulty or Can It Be Fixed?

I've been getting errors on my computer like "Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page" and just recently the "Attempted write to readonly memory" error. I finally ran memtest86 and found out my RAM failed pretty badly. I'm wondering if there's anything else I can try, or if I just need to bite the bullet and buy new RAM.

Are you using XMP profiles? I had a similar issue where my RAM was overclocked using a preset, and it caused a lot of errors. Sometimes the RAM itself is fine. Check if your settings are stable!

Could you share what platform you’re using? How many sticks of RAM do you have and what speed are they running at? Might help diagnose the issue further.

What brand of RAM do you have? There's a chance it might still be under warranty. Although you mentioned not having one, it’s worth double-checking for your brand.

It's T-force, and I'm pretty sure I don't have any warranty left. Definitely won't make that mistake again!

If your RAM has failed, returning it might be your best bet, depending on where you bought it from. Lots of retailers have return policies for defective components. Check with them!

Make sure to back up your important files as soon as possible! If your RAM is having issues, there's a risk your data could become corrupted. Windows often saves files in memory, which could lead to problems if the RAM is faulty.
