Is My School Computer Monitored?

I just received a school computer to replace my old one that stopped working. It has a fresh installation of Windows 11 Pro, but I'm concerned about whether it's being monitored. I have personal information, like work-related statements and my passport, that I don't want accessible to the school. The computer is registered under 'USER' and a local admin account, which makes me think it was reset for student use. How can I find out if it's being supervised?

If it's a school computer, it's pretty likely that they have some form of monitoring in place. Schools usually monitor devices for security reasons and to keep track of their assets. It's best to assume that your activity might be observed, especially since it's connected to their network.
