Hey everyone! I'm currently using Linux Mint and dual-booting into an external SSD. I've set up MAC spoofing and I'm using Mullvad VPN with the kill switch and lockdown mode activated, which prevents internet access unless I'm connected to the VPN. I'm wondering if I'm good to go for torrenting with this setup? Any thoughts?

Yeah, if you’re using a VPN, you should be fine for torrenting! Just ensure your VPN connection is stable.
I also use Mullvad and while MAC spoofing is unnecessary for torrenting, having a kill switch is a great idea. Just make sure to bind your torrent client to the VPN. If your client doesn’t support that, consider switching to one that does. I had a rough time with ExpressVPN's Linux kill switch, so I trust Mullvad's a bit more, but it’s always best to double-check and ensure your client is set up safely.
Thanks for the tips! Is there anything else I should do to avoid any legal issues?
