Is My Steam OS Gaming PC Build Good for Retro Games?

I'm planning to build a PC for my living room primarily for playing retro games through Steamdeck OS with Emudeck. I used to have consoles like the PS2 and Gamecube, and I currently enjoy older titles like Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights and Sly Cooper Band of Thieves. My build includes a Ryzen 5 3600, B550 motherboard, RX580 GPU, 36GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. I'm trying to balance performance with budget since I don't want to overspend on a high-end setup. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Your build sounds perfect for running emulators and classic games! Just make sure to check the price of the RX580—if it's too high, you might find a better deal with a newer graphics card that fits your budget. I’ve seen some decent options out there lately.

Yeah, I'm still searching for prices. It's tricky since I live far from big cities, so I might have to stick to online options. My daughter has a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2060 combo for her games, and it runs really well.
