Is My Warped Laptop Panel Safe to Use?

I picked up a Toshiba L755-1HW and noticed that one of the panels is warped. I'm concerned about its safety for continued use. I've looked at some disassembly videos on YouTube (I don't have the right screwdriver to open it myself), and I'm trying to figure out if this is related to the battery or something else. I've heard someone mention it could be the hard drive that's causing the warping, but I want to be sure before using it.

If the panel is bulging out, it could be due to a swollen battery, which can be dangerous and definitely needs replacing. If it’s just a little uneven or sunken, it might be due to overheating. Do you have any idea what’s directly under that panel?

I'm not entirely sure since I can’t access it myself, but I did find a disassembly video for this model where the guy said the hard drive might be the issue. It's warped on one side of the panel.
