Is Neofetch’s Source Down?

I've been trying to install Neofetch on three different computers using two Debian-based distros, but I keep getting the error "E: Couldn't find package neofetch." I've done the usual updates and upgrades on all systems, but nothing seems to work. Fastfetch installs and runs perfectly fine. Has anyone else had trouble with Neofetch lately, or could it be that the source is actually down? I just want to avoid digging through my systems if it's a server issue instead!

Neofetch was actually discontinued over five years ago, so it’s no surprise you can't find it. It’s pretty much gone for good!

Yeah, but the last official release was quite a while back, so any available packages might just be outdated.

Wait, five years? I thought it was just a year! I could still get it about a month ago!

You might want to check it out directly from GitHub for the latest updates. Sometimes older versions are still available there!

Honestly, Neofetch just isn't maintained anymore, so I’d suggest looking for alternatives. Fastfetch is a great choice!
