I've been rocking a B350M motherboard with a Ryzen 3700X and a 3060 Ti, mostly playing at 1440p and 4K. I've hit a wall where I can't upgrade my CPU without changing the motherboard, and my GPU is getting bottlenecked by my CPU. I found a deal for a Ryzen 9600X, a Gigabyte B650M motherboard, and 32GB of CL36 RAM for about $300. Should I jump on this deal or hold out for something better? Also, I won't be upgrading my GPU unless I find a 5070 or 9070 at MSRP.

Honestly, coming from DDR4 to DDR5 is a massive jump for both you and the person asking! Even if the RAM isn't the absolute best quality, the upgrade will be huge. A 1-3% difference in timings is likely something you won't even notice.
You might get similar performance just by upgrading to a Ryzen 5600 instead. Considering your 3060 Ti is probably the limiting factor at those resolutions without DLSS. What exact motherboard do you have currently?
The deal sounds solid! Plus, new AMD and Nvidia GPUs are about to drop or get announced, so if you can snag one at MSRP, you might find an even better option down the line. Worth keeping an eye on!
The new GPUs should be interesting, I'm definitely gonna look into them!
It's a B350M Gaming Pro. I've heard mixed things about compatibility; some say a 5700X works fine, but I’m starting to reconsider whether I should just go for that and wait for AM6.
