Is Programming Right for Me?

I've recently started learning Python and diving into programming because I'm really interested in technology. My goal is to work on cool projects and take advantage of the job opportunities out there. However, I often feel bored, exhausted, and unmotivated when I sit down to learn. I think this is because I'm overwhelmed and not yet at a good skill level. I genuinely like tech and want to learn programming, but I'm unsure about what steps I should take. Any advice?

If every time you sit down to code feels draining, maybe take a break. Programming shouldn't make you feel miserable. Find joy in it by trying out small projects that interest you. Also, ask yourself if you enjoy the idea of solving problems for hours. That might help you gauge your passion.

Think about developing a fun app, even if you don’t know how to do it right now. Having a specific project in mind can motivate you to learn new concepts. Also, don't shy away from making mistakes; it's all a part of the learning process!

It's totally normal to feel lost when starting out. If you're already learning, that's a good sign! Just remember that creating projects can sometimes feel tedious at first, but once you start completing things, the motivation can grow, especially when you see the potential salary from programming jobs!

Absolutely, no one becomes master-level overnight. It sounds like your interest is there, but the feeling of being a beginner can be frustrating. Focus on projects that excite you and don’t get too bogged down by the basics. Just dive in and start building!

It sounds like you're struggling to find your passion within programming. Instead of learning just for the sake of it, try to think of a project that excites you—like making a game or a website. Programming can be tedious if you’re just going through the motions, so focus on creating something that you actually want to build.
