I manage a small city planning firm and we're currently using a ChatGPT Plus subscription to help keep track of new requests for proposals (RFPs) from various sources, including government agencies and nonprofits. We have set up specific websites for ChatGPT to check daily, looking for updates related to our keywords. Unfortunately, we've found that ChatGPT frequently misses new RFPs that fit our criteria, even when we've tried tweaking our prompts and splitting our sources across multiple chats to improve accuracy. We automate some tasks, but the results are inconsistent. Sometimes it claims manual prompting is required, and even when it does work, it still often overlooks important updates.
We've noticed that some sources block ChatGPT, which leads us to wonder if switching to Python might provide a more reliable solution for our web scraping needs. However, I'm worried that Python may also struggle with links that are outdated or lead to static pages instead of RFP listings. Could you provide some strategies to resolve these issues in ChatGPT's approach? And do you think transitioning to Python would be more effective, despite these concerns? Thanks!
