They recently rolled out a backend engineer learning path, which might be what you need! I'm not sure how effective it is yet, but it seems unique compared to other options out there. It might be worth checking out their free weekends to sample it.
Scrimba's great for nailing down the basics because their interactive videos are super engaging. But if you're looking to really dive into backend in 2026, it might feel a bit shallow on deeper server topics. If you're more focused on backend skills, you might want to check out Boot.dev. It’s tailored towards that area a bit more. I’ve been going through their TypeScript path, which I like, but I waited for Black Friday to snag it since it can be pricey.
True, but from what I gathered, Boot.dev mainly focuses on Python and Go, not really JavaScript.
