I'm trying to decide whether to go for the RX 9060 XT as a budget option or spend a little extra on the 9070 non-XT version. My gaming is mainly at 1080p, and I won't be moving to 1440p anytime soon. Both GPUs perform well based on benchmarks, but I'm concerned about how the 9060 XT will hold up in a few years as games become more demanding. There's a 279 euro difference between the two cards, so I'm wondering if I should buy the 9060 XT now and upgrade later or invest in the 9070 for long-term use. Any advice would be helpful!

Honestly, if you're looking for justtemp gaming, grab the 9060 XT and then resell it down the line for a new budget GPU when the time comes. No need to hold onto a GPU for six years just because you bought it.
Just be mindful of how demanding games become in the future. It depends whether you want to game on ultra settings right away or be more reasonable with settings. If you want to explore ray tracing, that could also influence your choice!
If you're sticking with 1080p, the 9060 XT should be fine for several years of gaming. While the 9070 does offer better future-proofing, it might not justify the extra cost if you're focused on 1080p. The current performance difference isn't massive for your resolution, so I'd say go for the 9060 XT.
Exactly! Plus, the 256-bit memory bus advantage isn't really noticeable at 1080p.
