Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card since I'm not really happy with how my current GTX 1650 is performing. I'm considering the RTX 5050—do you think it would provide decent performance for gaming? My setup includes an i3-10100F, so I'm curious if this combo will work well together. Thanks!

Honestly, if you can, you might want to stretch your budget a little for the 5060 instead. I’ve seen the 5050 for around $249, but for just $50 more, you could snag a 5060. Plus, check if your motherboard supports PCIe 5—if not, a used 3060 could be a solid choice since you can find them for about $200.
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend the 5050. It gets beaten by the 4060 8GB models. If you're trying to stay under $300, a used 3060 12GB or a 4060 would be a much better match for your CPU.
If you're comparing the 5050 to the 1650, then absolutely, the 5050 is a faster card! But it really depends on what you want to do with your PC. What games or tasks are you planning on using it for?
I'm mainly playing New World and EAFC. I'm not really looking for 4K performance or anything.
I'm on a tight budget and was aiming for the MSI 5050, but I have an ASUS PRIME H410M-F motherboard. I hope my i3 CPU will pair well with that GPU.
