Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC setup which I built back in 2019. I've got a Ryzen 7 3700x, B450 Tomahawk, and an RTX 2070 Super. I was gaming at 1080p but recently got a 1440p monitor. I'm mainly into competitive games like Overwatch, CS, Marvel Rivals, and Valorant, with some single-player titles mixed in. Would the 5060 Ti 16GB be a good choice for around $380, or is there something better for my budget of about $1000? I'm also considering the 7700/7800 XT options but want to balance performance with overall budget, especially since I might need a new PSU and case. Any thoughts?

Walmart seems to have a sale on the 16GB version which is great! Just to clarify, the 5070 actually has 12GB. If you're gaming at 1440p, more VRAM is beneficial, so the 16GB 5060 Ti could be a better choice for your needs.
For $380, make sure it's the 16GB version and not an 8GB one, as that wouldn't be a great deal. The MSRP for the 5060 Ti 16GB is around $429, and it can handle light 1440p gaming. If you're not keen on waiting for the 5070, this could be a solid option for you.
