Is the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti a Good Buy for 1080p Gaming?

I'm trying to decide whether to get the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti for gaming at 1080p or if I should spend a little more on the 16GB version. The price for the 8GB is $515, while the 16GB version costs $726. I don't need 4K or 2K gaming, so I'm really looking for some advice on which option would be better in the long run. What do you all think?

If you can, go for the 16GB option. It might cost a bit more now, but it's definitely worth it for future-proofing your setup, especially if you plan to upgrade other components later on.

The 8GB version might be too limiting in the future. If you're looking for the best value, the Rx 9060 XT 16GB actually seems like a smart choice given the price range.

But how much does the 9060 XT actually cost? I haven't seen that listed anywhere.

Honestly, at 1080p gaming, the 8GB should be fine for most games, but it depends on how demanding they are. Just remember, some games can be pretty heavy on VRAM, so the 16GB might give you more breathing room down the line.
