Is the 9060XT 16GB Enough for Gaming and Streaming?

I'm looking to upgrade my almost 8-year-old PC, which currently has a Ryzen 5 1600X and a GTX 1060 6GB OC. I mainly play games like League of Legends and FIFA, and I'm considering streaming and uploading videos in the future. I'm eyeing the 9060XT 16GB, but I'm wondering if that would meet my needs or if I should spend the extra €300 on the 9070XT. I also want to maintain a nice aesthetic with a Lian Li build and an LCD AIO. Would the 9060XT be sufficient for my gaming and streaming, or is the 9070XT a better choice?

You should be fine with the 9060XT, but if you're worried, just a heads up that there are options like the 9070 and even the 5070 which could be better suited without breaking the bank on the 9070TX.

I appreciate the suggestions! Just a little hesitant since I’ve heard the 5070 lacks the necessary VRAM. The 5060 Ti could be a smart move.

Definitely! It’s good to consider how much VRAM you'll need, especially for streaming.

The 9060XT 16GB should handle your games really well, especially at 1440p. It's definitely a solid choice for League of Legends and FIFA, so you shouldn't have too much trouble there!

What CPU are you pairing it with? I have a 100Hz 1440p monitor with the 9060XT, and it performs nicely, usually hitting around 50-60 FPS on heavier titles. If you're playing less demanding games, the 9060XT is a great deal!

I'm probably going for the 7800X3D since it seems to be future-proof and offers good value.

That sounds like a solid choice! It'll pair nicely with the 9060XT.

If you're serious about streaming, consider that AMD cards can struggle a bit with encoding compared to Nvidia. The 5070 or the 16GB 5060 Ti might be worth looking into, especially if you're aiming for more than just gaming. If you're sticking exclusively to gaming, the 9060XT is fine.

I’ve heard that the 5070 doesn’t have 16GB of VRAM. It seems like 8GB is a bit outdated for gaming now, but I might check out the 5060 Ti.

Yeah, 8GB isn’t really cutting it for a lot of games anymore. The 16GB options are definitely better for future-proofing!
