I'm putting together my first PC and just picked up an i7-12700K after a week of researching all my parts. I chose the ASRock B760M Pro RS Wifi White motherboard because it says it supports 12th generation Intel CPUs, which is what the i7-12700K is. However, when I checked Intel's website, the processor didn't show up as compatible, which made me nervous. I've also looked at a few PC compatibility sites, and they all seem to say that the i7-12700K should work fine with this motherboard. Can anyone confirm this for me? I only have 15 days to return the processor if it's not going to work. Also, if you know of any other white micro motherboards that are comparable, I'd love suggestions!

You definitely want to ensure that your other components can handle the overclocking if you go that route. Just double-check your PSU and cooling solutions to make sure they're up to par.
Yeah, it should be fine! The B760M is designed for the 12th gen CPUs, so you shouldn't have any issues. Just curious, what made you pick the i7-12700K?
It was on sale! Plus, I don’t think I’ll be gaming at a level that requires anything more powerful, just casual stuff like RDR2 and Infinity Nikki.
