I'm looking to decide on a cooler for my Ryzen 5 9600X CPU and came across the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 (Black variant). It fits my budget and looks great with my build. I'm curious if it will perform well even under worst-case conditions, since I plan to use 6-7 fans in my case, and the ambient temperature might reach up to 35°C. Will this cooler be sufficient?

If you're on a budget, the Hyper 212 will work, but there are cheaper options that can perform just as well or better. It's a low TDP chip, so it doesn't need an extreme cooler.
The Hyper 212 is pretty outdated at this point and may not give you the best performance for your money. I'd suggest looking at the Thermalright Peerless Assassin models, as they typically outperform the Hyper 212 while being around the same price.

Yeah, it's an old design for sure. Still, it can do a decent job for the usual $15 price tag.
