Is the DeepCool AK400 Dark a Good Choice for Air Cooling?

I'm considering switching from an AIO cooler to an air cooler because my CPU is running too hot. The DeepCool AK400 is available in my area, and I'm wondering if it's a reliable option for my mid-range build. I'm using an Intel i7-12700K, but I mainly study and don't game anymore. Is this cooler suitable for my setup?

What AIO are you currently using? It might help to know what temperatures your CPU is hitting before making a switch.

I'm using an MSI CoreLiquid C240, and my CPU is reaching around 100°C! That's part of the reason I'm considering a change.

The AK400 has a heat dissipation capacity of 220W, whereas the i7-12700K has a TDP of 125W, so it should work well. Just keep in mind that if you push the CPU to its limits, it might throttle a bit because sustained loads can be more challenging to manage than quick spikes.

I've got the AK620 on my i5-14600K, a beefier cooler, but even then the TDP can jump during gaming. With the AK400, you'll probably be fine for lighter tasks, but intense usage could lead to some throttling.
