Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC, and it's a bit overwhelming with so many factors to consider for the best setup. I'm currently on the hunt for a motherboard (MOBO), and I could really use some guidance. I want something safe, performs well, is durable, and doesn't break the bank. I was initially looking at ASROCK, but I've heard mixed reviews about their reliability. Then I found the Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 at a decent price of around $150, and it caught my interest. Are there any better motherboards in a similar price range? Do you think it's worth spending a bit more to get the B850 and PCIe 5.0 support for my GPU? For reference, my build includes a Ryzen 5 7600x, a 5070 card, and 32GB (2x16GB) of 6000MHz CL36 RAM. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!!!

The Gigabyte B650 is a solid choice! You really don't need to spend extra on the B850 unless you specifically want PCIe 5.0 support in the future. For most users, the B650 will perform great with your setup!

What do you think about the B650 Eagle version?
