I'm thinking about upgrading my PC from a 4060 to an RX 7900 XT, and I'm curious if my current CPU, the i5 12400F, will be sufficient for this setup. I'm concerned about potential bottlenecking affecting my FPS since I game at 1440p. Will the i5 hold me back?

If you're already using the i5 12400F, it should handle the RX 7900 XT pretty well, especially if you're not looking to upgrade your CPU right now. However, if you're considering the i5 as a potential upgrade from something else, you might want to explore other options for better performance. Just make sure to keep an eye on CPU usage in your games.

Got it! I'm definitely sticking with the i5 for now. It's good to know it's still decent for gaming.
