Is the LF III AIO Cooler Compatible with My LGA 1200 Motherboard?

I'm looking to upgrade to the LF III AIO cooler that I found on Amazon, but I have some concerns about compatibility. My PC is about 5 years old and has an MSI Z490-Pro motherboard with an LGA 1200 socket. I've seen conflicting information online; some say it should fit while others recommend getting an additional mounting kit. Can anyone clarify this for me?

You'll need to purchase a separate mounting kit specifically for LGA 115x/1200 sockets. Arctic has the kit available on their website. Make sure to grab that before installing the cooler to ensure everything fits well.

Honestly, I'm curious why you want to switch coolers on such an old setup. Upgrading might not yield significant performance improvements due to the age of the components. But if you're dealing with a noisy cooler, it makes sense to address that!

My PC has become really loud too, and I'm just looking for a way to quiet things down a bit. Plus, I noticed it’s on sale now, so that’s a good incentive!
