So, Walmart has a PNY 5070 available for its MSRP of $549. I'm wondering if it's worth picking it up at that price, or are there better options out there that offer more bang for your buck?

Honestly, getting a GPU at MSRP is pretty sweet these days to avoid those crazy price hikes. If you're considering AMD, the 9070 (non-XT) is also at $549 and offers about 10-15% better performance. But if the 5070 fits your needs, it’s an okay choice, too!
I think it’s a decent buy right now. It’s slightly above the price of an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, which is at $430. Sure, the 5070 is roughly 25% better performance-wise, but that extra VRAM could be valuable a couple of years down the line!
Yeah, the extra 4GB of VRAM could really help in the long run. It's a consideration if you're planning to stick with your card for a while!
