Is the RTX 5070 Ti Worth the Extra Cash?

I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5070 and the RTX 5070 Ti. The 5070 is priced around $660, while the 5070 Ti is going for about $960. I'm not going to wait for super variants, and I mainly play competitive games at 1440p resolution until GTA 6 drops. I know the 5070 Ti will likely perform better down the road, but I feel like the 5070 should hold up for the next 2-3 years for my current games. Should I go for the 5070 now and potentially upgrade later when prices drop, or is it better to get the 5070 Ti right away? I'm also using a Ryzen 5 9600x CPU, a 750W PSU, a b650 motherboard, and I have 32GB of 6000MHz RAM.

If you're mainly playing competitive games right now, the 5070 should serve you well for quite a while. The 5070 Ti has more VRAM and will be better for future titles like GTA 6, but it sounds like you're not in a huge rush. If budget is a concern, I say go with the 5070 and plan to upgrade in the future when prices come down.

Yeah, I agree! Plus, the 5070 will still give you great performance for those competitive games. You can always save up for a bigger upgrade later.

It's wild how much graphics cards cost in different areas! I found a 5070 Ti on Amazon for $750, but that's still steep. If you're dealing with significant markup, go for what gives you the best performance for your budget. Just don't overextend yourself with the current prices!

Honestly, both cards are way above MSRP right now, which is frustrating. If you're considering alternatives, check out the RX 9070 and 9070 XT too; they might be more reasonably priced in your region. The 9070 is around $700, so it might give you better value for video editing and rendering later on.

Inflation is definitely hitting hard here in Yugoslavia. I see the 9070 XT for $760, and I'm leaning towards it since it seems competitive with the 5070 Ti.
