I've noticed a lot of negativity surrounding the RTX 5070, but my budget only allows for this card due to high GPU prices where I live. Aside from its VRAM, how does it actually perform?

It's a great card and definitely the best value in the 5000 series. It runs Cyberpunk on ultra settings at 140fps with frame generation, and handles any AAA game at 1440p effortlessly!
I got mine when it was the only current-gen card available at MSRP, and I play at 2K 144hz. DLSS 4 is amazing! For someone like me who upgrades every few years, it's a fantastic buy. If you want to maximize raster performance, you might want to consider the 9070 or 9070XT, though.
The RTX 5070 offers some of the best performance per dollar among current-gen cards, making it a solid choice in its price range.
The 9070 might have a different take on that!
Totally agree!
Honestly, there’s no such thing as a bad GPU, just bad pricing. I got my RTX 5070 for about 500€ on Amazon, and it's been fantastic so far!
That’s awesome! So you're really enjoying it then?
Good to know! My friends are pushing me towards the TI because of the VRAM, but it’s out of my budget. I’m hoping to see the 5070 Super's price and specs soon, especially if the rumors of 18GB are true!
