I'm currently using a 1050 Ti, but it's struggling to run newer games on minimum settings, and I'm finding I need a card with at least 8GB of VRAM since most games now require a minimum of 6GB. I'm considering upgrading to an RX 580, which seems to be the best deal for that kind of VRAM within my budget of $100 to $150. However, I'm concerned about its power consumption. I've heard the RX 580 can be pretty power-hungry, and I'm wondering if I should wait a bit longer and save for a more efficient card instead. I know prices can vary greatly, especially where I live. Could you guys share your thoughts?

Have you thought about saving for an RX 6600 instead? It's a newer card and, while it might stretch your budget a bit, it's definitely more power-efficient and will give you better performance in the long run.
In Europe, you might find used RX 6600 cards around $150, so check out local marketplaces or classifieds. Sometimes people sell them at decent prices that could fit your budget without breaking the bank.
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, here they're usually around $250 or more, but I appreciate the suggestion.
