Is the Ryzen 7 5800X Still a Good Choice for Upgrading My PC?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC setup. I've been using a Ryzen 7 5800X for a couple of years now, and I'm planning to pair it with a 5060 Ti graphics card (16GB) and add some extra RAM. Do you think there will be any bottlenecks with this combination? Is the 5800X still a reliable CPU? Thanks for your input!

If you come across a good deal for a 5800X3D, definitely grab it! It's a step up from the standard 5800X.

Check out this video discussing the relevance of AM4 CPUs with current GPUs. It really highlights that AM4 is still a strong choice today!

Yeah, AM4 still holds up well!

A 5060 Ti will work great with a 5800X, so you shouldn't run into any major issues. You might see some bottlenecking only in specific games if you decide to go for a 5070 or 5070 Ti, but overall, it's a solid combo!

Sounds like your setup should run just fine. I’d say if you start looking at a 5070 or anything above that, you might want to think about upgrading your CPU to keep everything balanced.

Honestly, the 5800X is still a beast and definitely relevant today!
