I've been using a Surface Go 3 but it's been glitchy with touch responsiveness, even on Windows. It's frustrating, especially when my fingers are slightly wet or when the temperature drops below 18°C. I'm thinking about switching devices. Can anyone tell me if the Starlite with the pen and keyboard is a good option for my needs, or do you have any recommendations for alternatives? I specifically need a device optimized for writing since I'm using an app called rnote.

I own a Starlite V and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s surprisingly heavy and has a short battery life. The aspect ratio feels outdated, making it less comfortable to use as a tablet. And when mounted horizontally, sure, it works decently as a laptop, but it struggles with touch functionality like you’d want for a tablet. You might be better off looking for a dedicated laptop instead.

I'm in college too and plan to take notes with it. I really need a tablet for sketching during classes, especially in physics and medicine. I don’t want to deal with Android or iOS since I want to run JetBrains IDEs. Any other suggestions?
