I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU from a Ryzen 5700x to a 9950x3d and I'm curious about the performance leap. I mainly play games like Fortnite, Minecraft, and League of Legends, so how much of a performance boost can I expect? Also, I'm temporarily pairing the 9950x3d with a 4060ti while I wait for my 5080. Will my 1000w power supply be adequate for this setup?

Honestly, you might want to consider the 9800x3d instead. It's cheaper and still provides a significant performance boost over the 5700x, especially for gaming. The 9950x3d is great, but for gaming purposes, the 9800 might be a better deal.
There are tons of benchmarks on YouTube comparing CPUs in popular games. That’s a solid way to gauge performance differences. And yeah, a 1000w power supply will be just fine for your setup!
I recently upgraded from a 5800x to a 9800x3D and noticed a massive performance increase. Just a heads up, the 9800x3D is generally better for gaming than the 9950x3d, which might need some additional tweaking for optimal performance, so keep that in mind!

I get that! Both were roughly the same price on Amazon when I looked, so I went with the 9950x3d. Still hope it pays off!
