I'm currently building a new PC and I'm quite new to this, but my friend is helping me out. I decided to use Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet with a Ryzen 9800x3d for better longevity. However, I've learned that these graphene pads are conductive. Should I be concerned about them touching anything like the CPU socket frame? Also, for air cooling, is it worth it to switch to a custom contact frame, or is that only necessary for liquid cooling setups? My motherboard is a Gigabyte Elite X870 AORUS Elite WIFI7 Ice, and I'm using a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Digital Snow cooler for the CPU.

Honestly, you're worrying about something that's not really a problem. Just stick with thermal paste; it works just fine. Your CPU won’t push over 100W in most scenarios, so don't overthink your cooling setup too much.
A contact frame isn’t really necessary here. I thought those were mainly for Intel cpus?
I went through the same confusion. Go with decent thermal paste instead; the cooler you choose makes a bigger difference than what kind of paste you use. Don't stress it too much!
