Is This a Good PC Build for My $2000 Budget?

I'm planning to build a high-end PC, but it's been nearly a decade since I last built one, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the new hardware options, especially with the GPU scene being a bit chaotic lately. I'd appreciate any feedback on my proposed build; please let me know if there's anything that stands out as wrong or if there are areas for improvement. Here's my parts list:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
- **GPU**: Gigabyte Gaming OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7 ATX AM5
- **Memory**: Thermaltake TOUGHRAM XG RGB D5 32 GB
- **Storage**: Lexar NM790 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe SSD
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL PCIe5 850 W 80+ Gold
- **Case**: Thermaltake View 380 XL TG ARGB ATX Mid Tower (may consider a smaller case)
- **CPU Cooler**: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB 48.82 CFM

If this is mainly for gaming, consider spending a bit more on the 7800X3D CPU instead of the 9700X, or save some cash and grab the 9600X which offers similar gaming capabilities. You can find DDR5 6000 CL30 RAM for around $100, which is a better deal without the RGB markup. Also, I'd recommend a Thermalright 360mm cooler for about $50 instead of the Arctic one, since it can be overkill for your CPU and may run into clearance issues. Lastly, if you can swing it, upgrading to the RTX 5070 Ti could be worth the investment for DLSS 4.0 and CUDA support.

Would the 9600X pair well with something like the MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB?

You might want to swap to some CL30 6000MHz RAM for better performance, but overall, your build looks solid!
