I've been trying to move away from a DDR5 build and look for a DDR4 one instead. I found a PC build listed for $1100 (converted from LKR 330k, as I live in Sri Lanka). Here's the breakdown of the components:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x (2 years warranty)
- Motherboard: ANTEC SYMPHONY 360 ARGB (supports LGA 1700 & AM5, 2 years warranty)
- Memory: Corsair DDR5 5600 MHz 16GB (9 years warranty)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming Plus Wifi (2 years warranty)
- SSD: Addlink 1TB Gen 4 NVMe
- Power Supply: XPG 650 W Gold
- Graphics Card: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060
- Casing: XPG Battle Cruiser
- UPS: 1.2Kva Prolink UPS (no battery backup)
- Mouse: Logitech G402
- Keyboard: Logitech G213
- Monitor: Koorui 27 inch 2K resolution 200Hz (2 years warranty)
Is this a good deal? If it is, what should I check when buying? I'm really eager to get into gaming, especially AAA games, so any advice would be great!

Honestly, the GPU you're looking at, the GTX 1060, isn't great for modern AAA games. I would steer clear of this build if I were you. You can get a newer Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600F CPU and pair it with a more capable GPU like the RX 6600, RX 7600, or something from Nvidia like the RTX 3050.
Also, make sure to get at least 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and ensure you have a decent SSD. You should be able to build something new under $1000 really!

I feel you! In my country, prices are inflated too. However, if you buy this build, consider upgrading the GPU to a used RX 6700 XT, which could really help with gaming performance!
