Hey everyone! I'm working on a new PC build aimed at 1440p gaming and I could really use your input on my parts. My budget is under €2000, and I want this setup to last several years. So, here's what I've chosen so far:
- **CPU:** Ryzen 7 9800X3D - Is this the top choice for gaming right now?
- **Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE - I've heard it's great for performance and value.
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B850-P WIFI - I kept it simple with PCIe 5.0 x16 and an M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, but open to suggestions. Not really fussed about Wi-Fi.
- **RAM:** Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5-6000 CL36 (2x16GB) - Does 32GB still feel like plenty for gaming and some productivity tasks?
- **Storage:** Crucial P3 Plus 1TB NVMe - Just a decent Gen4 SSD for my OS and main games.
- **GPU:** XFX Swift RX 9070 XT (16GB) - Can't afford the 5070 Ti right now, but is it worth considering a cheaper option like the 5060 Ti or RX 9060 for future upgrades? I'm currently using a GTX 1060 6GB.
- **Case:** Fractal Design Pop Air - Clean look, affordable with good airflow, and it should fit the cooler nicely.
- **PSU:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIe 5, 850W, 80+ Gold - Is this sufficient for my build, considering I will have additional case fans and HDDs?
Thanks for your assistance! I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Looking good! One thing I'd suggest is considering RAM with a CL30 latency instead of CL36. It shouldn't add much to your cost, and brands like T-Create often have affordable options.
Overall, it's looking great! For the same price, though, you could find 6000MHz CL30 RAM if you search a bit. That said, most users probably wouldn't notice a huge difference in everyday use.
For your PSU, I think 850W should be sufficient for your setup, especially with a couple of case fans and HDDs in the mix. You're good to go!
Have you checked out builds with the 5070 Ti? There's a good one that fits in your budget: [5070Ti Build Link](https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/Zs9qyW). Might be worth considering for better performance!
Not at any cost, but thanks for the suggestion!
Just a heads up, the P3 Plus is not the best choice since it uses QLC flash. I recommend looking at the WD Blue SN5000 instead for better performance.
Your build looks solid! Just keep in mind that 32GB of RAM may feel a bit limited if you start to do more productivity-heavy tasks. If you're mainly focused on gaming, it should be fine, though.

On PCPartPicker, the cheapest CL30 kit is the Patriot Viper Venom. Might be worth a look!
