I'm new to building PCs and have been considering it for about a year now. With prices continuing to rise, I finally decided to go for it, but I'm feeling a bit lost. I've put together a build on pcpartpicker, and I have a few questions. For starters, the radiator mount is reduced to 83mm—will that be an issue? Plus, I didn't check for RAM clearance with the CPU cooler. Can someone let me know if that's likely to work out? I could use any feedback or suggestions! I'm starting from scratch, so does this list include everything I need, or am I forgetting something? Just to add, I've already ordered the RAM and an RTX 5070 Windforce. The 5070 is slated to arrive on February 16, but I'm thinking about switching to the RTX 5070 Gaming OC, which would come in earlier on January 15. I'll be using my PC for gaming, VR gaming, live streaming, music production/DJing, and some video editing. Thanks for any help!

Your build looks solid overall! Just a heads-up, PcPartPicker might have some higher prices compared to other sites, so it's worth checking around for deals. As for the RAM, 64GB might be overkill unless you're doing heavy video editing. For gaming, I'd suggest sticking with 32GB. If you plan on doing extensive VR or live streaming, then yeah, you might want that extra capacity, but don’t sweat it too much. Regarding the CPU cooler, it's not likely to be a limiting factor unless you're really pushing it with tasks like 3D rendering. You can opt for a 240mm AIO cooler for less noise if you prefer. Apart from that, you're good to go!
Where did you order the 5070 from that has such a long delivery? Just wondering! About the radiator mount—it usually only matters for water cooling setups, so it shouldn't be an issue for you. As for RAM clearance, you might just need to adjust the fan a bit to get it to fit. Reading the installation manual will definitely help you with that!
I ordered it from Amazon. Thanks for the clarification on the radiator!
I’d suggest saving some cash on the motherboard, RAM, and SSD, then consider swapping the 5070 for a 5070 Ti. Your choices are solid, though! If you’re looking for alternatives, check out this build I put together: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/67mjYd](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/67mjYd).
Great choices! I have a similar setup and clearance should be fine with the case you picked. Just a heads-up though, 64GB of RAM is a bit excessive for gaming. Most games don’t even use that much; I’ve only seen my system hit around 18GB at peak!

Thanks for the insight! I thought 64GB was a bit much, but a few people mentioned that games are poorly optimized these days. I’ll probably stick with 32GB since it should be enough for what I need right now.
