Will My First PC Build Last for a Few Years?

I'm venturing into building my first PC after years of using laptops, and I'm looking for some feedback on my build. My aim is to run heavy AAA games at 1080p and 1440p on at least medium settings. I'm on a budget of around €850 and planning to use some second-hand parts where I can. Currently, I'll be using my brother's 2x8GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD until I can snag some good deals. Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (tray) – €149.75
- **GPU**: AMD Radeon RX 6800 16GB – €270 (used)
- **Motherboard**: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II – €139
- **PSU**: Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 V3 (non-modular) – €79
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 SE ARGB – €27
- **Case**: MONTECH X3 Mesh (White) – €58.08

I have a few specific questions as well:
1. Is the motherboard a good match for the CPU and GPU?
2. Is my PSU reliable enough for this setup?
3. Will this build allow for future upgrades without needing to replace everything?
Thanks for any insights!

Looks like a decent setup! The RX 6800 might be the only concern due to its performance with ray tracing and upscaling. If your budget is tight, consider a used GPU like a 3080 if you can find one. But overall, everything else seems good and should last you a while!

Honestly, this is a solid build! The motherboard and PSU are both good choices. Just to address your upgrade question, you might have some limitations with the CPU for future upgrades, but the GPU can definitely be swapped out later. Don't worry too much!

Yup, I agree! The PSU will serve you well, and while the CPU has its limits, you can always add a better GPU later if you need to boost your gaming performance.
