I'm completely new to building PCs and have done a lot of research, but I still feel a bit lost. I'm hoping to get some advice on my planned build to see if everything will work well together or if there are better options that won't break the bank. My total budget is $2700 AUD, and I'll be using this PC for gaming as well as general use. Here's what I'm considering:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright AXP90-X47 (Do I actually need this?)
- **Motherboard**: Asus B650E MAX GAMING WIFI ATX AM5
- **Memory**: Crucial CT16G48C40U5 16 GB DDR5-4800
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 1 TB NVME SSD
- **GPU**: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card
- **Case**: Corsair 3500X ARGB ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL 850 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular
- **OS**: Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM
- **Monitor**: MSI MAG 244C 23.6" 180 Hz Curved
- **Fans**: Corsair RS120 ARGB 120 mm Fans 3-Pack
I want to ensure I'm not missing any crucial parts and need tips on cable management and thermal paste. Any input would really help!

You definitely need a CPU cooler! The one you've listed is fine, but you might want to consider something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120. It’s just a bit more expensive, but it'll keep your CPU cooler and quieter. Also, good news! Cooler units usually come with thermal paste included, so you won’t need to buy it separately.
Make sure to keep an eye on your total price, it looks like you're sitting at around $2566 AUD right now. If you're flexible with the case, there are definitely some alternatives that could save you some cash! I noticed you’re going for that particular case because of how it looks, but swapping it out for a different one could save you about $75 if you’re open to that.
Thanks for the heads-up! I'm pretty focused on a white case, that's why I picked it, but I’ll see what else is available.

Great, thanks! That makes me feel better about not having to buy extra thermal paste.
