Is Upgrading from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 Ti Worth It?

I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 Ti, and I've heard that the only necessary upgrade is my power supply unit (PSU). However, I'm not sure how to find out what PSU I currently have without opening my case. I'm making this upgrade to play Shadow of War in 4K with high-resolution settings, so I think my CPU shouldn't be an issue. But am I wrong about that?

Yep, the best way to figure out your PSU is to just open up your case and check the label. As for whether your CPU is a bottleneck, we really need to know which CPU you have to be sure. Post it if you can!

You should also look for specs on your current CPU and the 5070 Ti to see if there's a potential bottleneck. If your CPU isn't listed, try searching for your CPU model along with '5070 Ti performance' for a quick check. It'll help you see if it's going to hold back your gaming experience.

Playing in 4K usually means your GPU does more work than your CPU, which can lessen CPU strain because the game's visuals are pushed onto the GPU. I’ve been running a 5070 Ti with an i5 processor primarily in 4K and haven't faced big CPU limits. I did use a 550W PSU initially but upgraded to 800W to ensure stability.
