I just won a pair of AirPods Pro 3 but I use a Samsung S24 Ultra, so I'm not too concerned about missing out on Apple features. However, I really want to monitor the battery life of the AirPods. Does anyone know of a good app for Android that doesn't feel sketchy or unsafe?

I got these as well but ended up using an old iPad to check the battery level. It's ridiculous having to use a different device just for that, but at least they work well with my Android phone otherwise!
You could try using some projects like OpenPods or Capod. These are community-driven apps that might help you out. Just exercise a bit of caution when downloading any APKs outside of the Play Store.
Yeah, those GitHub apps should do the trick!
Unfortunately, monitoring the battery life of AirPods on an Android device is tricky since that feature is typically locked to Apple devices. There aren't any dedicated solutions for Android that work flawlessly, but some apps claim to help. You might want to check out options like OpenPods or Capod, which can be found on GitHub.
It's a bummer, isn't it? I was hoping for at least the battery percentage too!
Nah, there are apps out there! You just have to look a bit.
If you really can't use them much with your Android, maybe consider selling them? There are plenty of die-hard Apple fans out there who would love to have them!
I opened them already though! Not sure how that would work.
If you're just after basic functionality, they do fine as regular headphones with an Android. You'll just miss out on fancy features like battery monitoring unless you find an app.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out!
