Is Upgrading from a 6700 XT to a 9060 XT Worth It?

I'm considering whether I should upgrade my current Sapphire Pulse 6700 XT 12GB to an Asus Dual 9060 XT 16GB. I can sell my 6700 XT for about 200-220€ and the new 9060 XT is priced at 400€. I mainly play modded Minecraft (with shaders), Genshin Impact, CS2, League of Legends, Hollow Knight, R.E.P.O, Lethal Company, and Ultrakill. Given that I'm not interested in FSR enhancements or ray tracing since none of my games really benefit from those features, do you think this upgrade is worth it? I'm worried that the resale value of my 6700 XT will drop faster than the price of the 9060 XT, but this deal is better than the usual 450€+. I'd appreciate any thoughts or recommendations!

I just got an RX 6800 16GB, and performance-wise, it feels pretty similar to the 9060 XT. The cost difference here was significant—around £250 for the 6800 vs £400 for the 9060 XT, which seems high. I think there's more value in exploring options like that.

It sounds like your main issue might be with the CPU if you're not hitting the frames you want. If you can, consider upgrading to 1440P or improving your CPU and memory instead of just switching GPUs.

I'd say go for the upgrade now! New GPUs will just keep climbing in price. It's better to grab the newer gen while it’s still reasonably priced, you’ll be set for the future.

Honestly, I wouldn't go for it. Most of the games you mentioned are more CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound. An upgrade of about 30% in frames won't really give you that much more enjoyment. Save your cash for something better later.

The 9060 XT is about 25% faster and gives you an extra 4GB of VRAM, but honestly, that might not justify the price for you. If you're not really utilizing features like FSR4 or better ray tracing, maybe it's not worth it after all.
