I'm considering upgrading my RAM to 64GB (2x32GB) and want to know if it would really improve my system's performance. My current setup can be found here: [PC Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KV3XvR). I built it last year for around $90, and I'm now looking at spending about $1000 for the upgrade. I do a lot of gaming and tend to keep multiple Firefox tabs open simultaneously. Will this upgrade make a noticeable difference, or is it a waste of money? If it's worth it, what 64GB 6000MHz CL30 RAM should I get?

Upgrading to 64GB of RAM won’t necessarily speed up your system. It's all about whether you’re currently maxing out your RAM. Check your resource manager—if you're rarely hitting the limit, then it might be an unnecessary expense. Otherwise, you're just throwing money away without a real performance boost.
More RAM means you can keep more tabs open without issues, but if your games are running fine, adding more RAM won't really enhance that. Firefox will manage memory efficiently, unloading tabs when needed. I'd suggest sticking with your current 32GB unless you really notice your system struggling.
Most of the time, it's about managing your tabs. If you're already running smoothly with 32GB, jumping to 64GB won't change your gaming experience much, especially since only a few poorly optimized games benefit from that much RAM. For $1000, I'd recommend some other upgrades or just closing some of those tabs instead!
It really comes down to whether you’re swapping memory right now. If you are, then sure, go for the upgrade. But if you're not hitting near your 32GB limit, then it's probably not worth the $1000. Also, some high-demand games aside, most users don’t need that much RAM for gaming or day-to-day use.

I see! I'll check my current RAM usage and decide from there. Thanks for the advice!
