I'm currently using a 3070 with 8GB of VRAM. If I upgrade to a 5080, how much of a performance boost can I realistically expect? My girlfriend is considering this as a Christmas gift for me, and I'd love to know if it's worth it.

Upgrading from a 3070 to a 5080 would be a substantial leap. Just make sure your CPU can keep up with the new graphics card. Thanks for the tip! I've actually upgraded my CPU to a Ryzen 9 9900x3D a couple of months ago to make sure I’m future-proofing my system. I'm also using it with an OLED 1440p monitor. Do you think that setup is solid?
