I'm currently running a PC with the following specs: Intel Core i5-14400F processor with 10 cores, 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM, a 1 TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics card, an ASRock B760M-CX motherboard, and a 650W power supply. I used to game a lot at 1080p but recently got a 1440p monitor and I'm trying to enjoy more visually stunning story games.
When I see discussions about the 5060, I start to doubt my choice and I'm considering upgrading to the 5070, which is the only upgrade I can afford right now. I'm wondering if putting a 5070 in this build will overdraw my power supply or bottleneck the CPU, and if this upgrade is even going to be a significant improvement. Any insights would be appreciated, thanks!

Upgrading from a 5060 to a 5070 is definitely a solid move! You’ll see a noticeable improvement in performance, especially for visually demanding games. Your current power supply should handle it just fine; the 5070 is efficient enough not to push things over the edge.
If you're considering performance, definitely think about the 9070XT if your budget allows it! Many say it has better raw performance, although the 5070 might be more suited if you're doing video editing too.
I feel stuck between the 5070 and the 9070XT as well. I heard 5070 shines in video editing, while the 9070XT is more for gaming. What would you recommend?!

Is it really worth the investment though? I've seen some great deals on the 5070 lately.
