I'm really interested in trying out Usenet since I've heard it's fast, private, and still has a lot of activity. However, I'm not entirely sure how it all works. For those who have experience with it, is it worth giving a shot? Can you get started easily, or does it require a lot of setup to get it going? I'm also curious about choices for providers, software options, and tools for searching, as I believe those are the key components of using Usenet. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I jumped back into Usenet this year and decided on Newshosting. It's a solid choice for newcomers since it has a built-in newsreader with search features, so you don't have to worry about finding additional tools right away. Once you're comfortable, you can explore adding an external indexer for more options, but the default setup works great for testing things out.

I've seen Newshosting pop up a lot. Are you happy with it? Which indexers have you tried? There seem to be so many choices!
