Has anyone had the chance to use Winboat for gaming? I'm particularly interested in trying to play 2xKO, but I've heard that the anti-cheat system doesn't work on Linux, which might be an issue. What's your experience like with gaming on Winboat?

Just a heads up about Winboat: it's similar enough to Windows that it's susceptible to Windows malware. I've seen someone’s system get hit by ransomware through it because they weren't taking Windows security seriously.
We really need a clear warning that says Winboat doesn't support GPU passthrough. Playing games on it feels like you're using tech from the 90s if it even runs at all. I can’t believe how popular it’s gotten—it’s just Gnome Boxes with a 'Win' label.
Since Winboat lacks GPU passthrough capability, I doubt many folks have gamed on it. It just wouldn't be a fun experience.
The use of RDP with Winboat adds a lot of video buffering, which seriously hampers performance. Plus, dealing with potential issues from RDP itself can be a hassle.
Winboat functions like a virtual machine, so most anti-cheat software recognizes it and won't allow you to play games. If you're set on playing those types of games, dual-booting into Windows might be your best bet instead.

Honestly, Qemu/KVM offers way better performance than using a Windows setup on Docker, if we're being real.
