Issue Adding Member to Teams Shared Channel as a Global Admin

I'm logged into our tenant as a Global Admin and I'm encountering an issue when trying to add a user to a Team's Shared Channel. I followed the steps: Teams Admin Center > Manage Teams > Select Team > Channels > Select Shared Channel > Add Member. I was able to add myself without any problems, but when I attempt to add a specific user, I get the error message that says, "We can't save your changes because you don't have the right permissions. Contact a Global Administrator to get access, then try again." I want to point out that I am an owner of the Team, and the user I'm trying to add is not currently a member of the Team, but there are other users who are not Team members yet are part of the Shared Channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried having another team owner add the member? Sometimes, that can clear up confusion with permissions. Since you're already the owner, it seems odd, but it could help!

I'm actually the owner, so that wouldn't really apply in this case.
