Issues Booting Windows 10 After Installing RTX 5070

I've just installed an RTX 5070 in my 10-year-old PC, and now I can't boot into Windows 10. The card seems properly seated and powered by two 8-pin cables connected to my 1600W PSU. After struggling a bit, I managed to get into safe mode and used DDU to remove the old GTX 1080 drivers. I then installed the latest drivers for the 5070. Device Manager recognizes the new GPU, but when I try booting normally, it gets stuck on the Windows logo. The screen eventually goes black, but I can hear the system running, and the motherboard's code shows AA. I've checked the BIOS, but didn't find anything helpful. Given its age, I'm wondering if some compatibility issues are at play. I did update the BIOS before building the machine, but it looks like it's still the same old version from 10 years ago. Any suggestions?

What BIOS version are you currently on? If you updated it during the initial build, that might be an old version. You should check for a more recent update since it could be key for compatibility with newer cards like your RTX 5070.

I updated it 10 years ago; it was a real hassle since the system wouldn’t even boot without that update. The current version is .3101.
