Issues with Russian Users Accessing My AWS Server

I've been running an app on an AWS server located in North Virginia. For the past week, several of my users in Russia have been unable to upload photos unless they use a VPN. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Is it related to AWS, or could it be something with Russian internet providers? What can I do to resolve this? Sorry if my English isn't great!

My app is facing a similar issue, but I'm not quite sure what's causing it yet. I’ll keep you posted if I find anything out!

Make sure you don't have any geo-restrictions set up on your end that might be blocking Russian IPs. Beyond that, there's not much you can do if it's an upstream issue.

This might be an issue with your DNS provider. Some registrars enable IP blocking by default, especially Cloudflare. We've had to whitelist certain IPs because of contractors in Russia being blocked unexpectedly.

What DNS service are you using? It's possible for providers like Cloudflare to block a whole country, which might be the case here due to the number of bots from Russian IPs. Double-check your settings to see if you've accidentally blocked access!

I only have access to the server. I suspect it could be AWS blocking access for political reasons or Russian ISPs blocking US servers.
